ITALJET’s “DRAGSTER elettrico” goes into mass production at the end of 2022

ITALJET has issued a press release stating that the DRAGSTER 125/200, a speed-accessible bike in a different “Urban Superbike” style launched at the 2019 EICMA (Milan Motor Show), is already in production, and has also announced that it will launch the DRAGSTER elettrico, an electric version with zero emissions, in the second half of 2022. A superbly distinctive body structure and front suspension
The Italian motorbike manufacturer ITALJET announced at the EICMA 2021 press conference that production of the DRAGSTER 125/200 has begun. The DRAGSTER was first unveiled as a concept at the 2018 EICMA show and production was announced for 2019, but production was delayed due to external factors such as the Covid-19 epidemic. The DRAGSTER is a “new” model with a “new” design.

The DRAGSTER was developed in the style of an “Urban Superbike”, combining a steel tube frame with a cast aluminium chassis and an I.S.S. (independent steering system) front wheel structure with front and rear suspension. The front and rear suspensions are fitted with Bitubo single shot shocks. The DRAGSTER is available with either a 125cc or 200cc engine (in accordance with the latest EURO 5 regulations, of course), with a maximum power of 12.5ps for the 125cc and 17.5ps for the 200cc. The 200cc can be boosted to over 20ps.

In addition, the Italian tuning brand MALOSSI, which is also part of the S.P.A group, has also developed a transmission kit for the DRAGSTER 125/200 to improve transmission efficiency, as well as a set of cylinder kits for the race track, etc. Other tuning components for the DRAGSTER 125/200 are also available from Brembo, Akrapovič and Ohlins.
