The death of gatsby

Contrary to popular belief, The Great Gatsby did not commit suicide. As a brooding man was starving for the affections of his heartthrob, Jay Gatsby was murdered by George Wilson. Wilson had gotten information from Tom that Gatsby’s car killed his wife, Myrtle. So, to avenge her death, he killed Gatsby and left him lying in the luxurious swimming pool, and went on to kill himself.
