The 2021 Lexus IS 300h debuts in Thailand, priced locally from RM 361,190!

AutoFun—The Lexus IS has officially launched only a short while ago, and now our neighbors in Thailand have already received the new model! According to Thai media Headlightmag, Lexus Thailand will only introduce the 2021 Lexus IS 300h as a single model, with three variants to choose from, priced from 2,690,000 baht (RM 361,190)!

Although not a major facelift, 2021 IS is still very different in appearance, with a new Lexus family design. The lines of the 2021 IS become more pronounced, and the overall lines have the feel of a Fastback coupé.

At the rear, the 2021 Lexus IS features the mainstream LED lights, which are similar to those of the Lexus UX, as well as a small duckbill rear wing, bilateral single exhaust pipes and a sporty rear bumper. The 2021 Lexus IS is definitely one of the best.

The interior of the 2021 Lexus IS is still equipped with the Lexus signature steering wheel, centre console and leather power seats, but this time the factory has also introduced more recognisable full LCD instruments, a 10.3-inch multimedia entertainment console (supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto) and more exquisite design of the air vents. The whole interior is sophisticated and luxurious, but with a touch of dynamism! The 2021 IS is also equipped with Lexus Safety Sense 2.5 as standard, including automatic emergency braking, automatic speed control, blind spot detection, automatic high and low beams, lane departure warning and other driver assistance systems.

The 2021 IS 300h is powered by a 2.5L Dual VVT-i hybrid engine, codenamed 2AR-FXE, with D-4S dual injection technology, which generates a combined 223 PS with the addition of an electric motor. The new 2021 Lexus IS is available in Thailand in three variants – Luxury, Premium and the top-of-the-range F Sport – and is priced as follows.

IS 300h Luxury – 2,690,000 THB (approx. RM 361,190)
IS 300h Premium – 3,370,000 THB (approx. RM 452,361)
IS 300h F-Sport – 3,890,000 THB (approx. RM 522,161)
