The new Subaru Crosstrek will be officially launched in Japan in 2023
www.autofun.co.th—Recently, Subaru officially announced the official pictures of its new generation Crosstrek, which is said to be the successor of the Subaru XV, even the overall design style is basically the same as the XV. Although the official pricing of the new car has not been revealed, as a replacement for the XV, it is expected that the price range of the new car will be within 200,000-2300,000 RMB, referring to the domestic price of the Subaru XV.
The new Subaru Crosstrek will be officially launched in Japan in 2023, and Subaru has not made any further statement on when it will enter the domestic market.
The new model is based on the SGP platform, with dimensions of 4480/1800/1580mm in length, width and height, and a wheelbase of 2670mm, a total increase of 15mm in length compared to the current model.
On the exterior, the front light clusters have been revised and upgraded to a sharper style, with a large grille design and black polygonal trim accenting the centre grille.
In addition, the black trim at the fog lamps is extended to the side skirts and wheelarches, echoing the front, giving it a sportier and more rugged look. At the rear, the new car features split rear lights, a concealed exhaust design and a roof spoiler, making the overall design very three-dimensional.
As for the colour scheme, the new Subaru Crosstrek is available in nine exterior colours, including two new colours, Offshore Blue Metallic and Oasis Blue.
In terms of the interior, the new dashboard is a combination of traditional hands + small display, with an 11.6-inch LCD vertical centre screen in the centre of the layout. As seen in the official photos, the vehicle retains physical buttons for all commonly used functions, improving the practicality of the vehicle.
In terms of power, the new vehicle uses the e-BOXER hybrid system, which is a combination of an electric unit and a 2.0L horizontally opposed engine, and the vehicle’s drivetrain is matched with a CVT continuously variable transmission, and other specific related parameters have not been further exposed.
