Depending on the class of travel, all passengers on TAROM flights are entitled to a free allotment of checked luggage. One typical piece of checked luggage can only weigh up to 23 kg and have maximum dimensions of 158 cm (height + width + length), regardless of the class of travel. Depending on the class of travel, the amount of pieces allowed for free baggage allowance varies, and some passengers may be eligible for additional allowance:
Economy Class: One piece as normal.
Business Class: Depending on the route, two or three regular pieces.
One more regular piece for SkyTeam Elite and Elite Plus.
Dedicated rate paying sailors only get one additional standard piece in economy class.
The maximum weight per piece that may be carried on flights between Bucharest and Amman, Beirut, or Dubai is 30 kg, provided that there is no extra charge.
Carry-on Baggage dimensions in Tarom Airlines
Hand Luggage dimensions should be 55*40*20 cm for all faresin Tarom Airlines. It should be 35*30*20 cm in ATR42/ATR72 planes. So make sure that your carryon or luggage matches the dimensions and weight parameters.
